MFC or SGL for washroom cubicles?
Both materials can be appropriate when specified for the right environment. The important distinction is persistent water exposure: MFC is a dry-area product, while 12mm SGL is the usual route for wet, humid or especially demanding spaces.

Worked specification example: mixed toilet and shower facilities
Project brief: one dry staff WC area and an adjoining shower and changing area that will experience regular humidity and direct water exposure.
Review outcome: the toilet area could begin with an MFC assessment, while the shower and changing compartments would normally begin with 12mm SGL. The final review would coordinate room dimensions, privacy, accessible provision, colours, fittings and any IPS, vanity, locker or benching requirements across both spaces.
Why this matters: one building does not always require one board material throughout. Specifying each zone around its actual moisture and traffic conditions can avoid both under-specification and unnecessary cost.

Why these details matter
A generic “price per cubicle” can be misleading because partitions, end pilasters, door widths, accessible layouts, full-height arrangements and coordinated products change the material and machining schedule.
If drawings are incomplete, send the information available. TCS can identify what is still needed before a project-specific supply quotation is prepared.
For an early budget indication, include the cubicle count, main room dimensions, wet or dry conditions, preferred material if known, coordinated products and delivery postcode. This allows TCS to price a defined supply scope rather than quote an incomplete “from” figure.
